Ooh Fun

So one of the things I acquired when I got married was shared use os a Mac. I was excited cause a Mac is what I firt used in elementary school and my dd had a R E A LL Y old apple...like 83 or something. And these are WAY cool. Thanksgiving and such

Oh boy is my fat butt excited about Thanksgiving! Not only is it Kevin & I's first Thanksgiving, we are having it at his mother's house, and not ours (I don't think I'm ready for that just yet...). I'm bringing some of my families traditional dishes because his family makes nothing I have ever had at Thanksgiving. Oh but it all sounds soooooo good.

What I am making:

Party potatoes
Corn/cornbread casserole
green bean casserole
sweet potatoes with marshmallows
reg. mashed potatoes
apple pie
my famous delicious pumpkin roll


What I remember that his fam is making:
turkey
ham
pork roast
greens (I've never had these so i am excited)
mac & cheese (I LOVE mac & cheese)
sweet potatoes
potato salad
sweet potatoe pie (very excited about this after my trying to impress Kevin last Christmas sweet potato pie...)



YUMMMMMMMM I'm excited. And we're all going to play some games at Thanksgiving. Charades and Poquino. Anything else fun anyone can think of to play???????

Union Square

Earlier this week I went to Union Square after eating lunch at this delightful place. Union Square was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool. They had a farmer's market thing y up. Awesome. I got some apples to make applesauce. I got some fresh brussel sprouts. I love brussel sprouts. I also got some fresh rosemary. Have you ever smelled fresh rosemary?? That stuff smells so good! I wanna put a little bit in a vase cause it smells crazy good. Oh and I passed by this booth with hot apple cider and got a cup then a quart for at home. I loooooovvvvveee hot apple cider. It is so good. So, Union Square was one of the coolest things I've done so far here. Quite neat.

My Recent Drunk & Sober Events

So sorry for not really updating especially when I;m bored A L O T. This past Monday I went out with my old high school friend Shannon. We went to a bar in Spanish Harlem. They had some sangria. Some very delicious sangria. I didn't realize how much I had to drink till we were getting ready to leave and I stood up for the first time since we had sat down. And then, not until I was on the train did I really realize how really drunk I was.

Me and Kevin got into a big fight so I ended up sad drunk instead of fun happy drunk. Drunk and riding the subway are not a good combo. BUT, I had an awesome time catching up with Shannon and hope her working ass can do it again soon. She's my new best friend. Hahahahaha...I'm so lonely. Ok not really but I really did have a good time. And I made it safely home at night, by myself, and drunk. So I rock. Note: Drunk dialing your mom and mom-in-law is NOT a good idea, they will make fun of you afterwards.

Starting yesterday, my jaw/teeth have been a wreck. My mouth hurts sooooooooooooo bad. I know it's cause I need the root of my back tooth pulled. Kevin says we can afford it next week. So Ibuprofen and Tylenol are on a good schedule here. And liquid orajel when those aren't completely workig. I take deep breaths and suck it up, lay down, and put ice on it. When I'm freaking out too much over it I take my anxiety medicine, then I go nite nite a lot easier. Phew.
